Policies and proposals that affect Gozo will not be drawn up at the PN headquarters but through constant and regular dialogue with Gozitans, PN leader Adrian Delia said today.

Speaking at the PN sub-headquarters in Sannat, Delia said he wanted Gozitans to determine what they want and need.

Delia also spoke about the distance between Malta and Gozo and said the PN would not be reactive but would be proactive. A number of ideas are already under discussion.

He said that, while transport problems for the Maltese meant traffic and public transport, for Gozitans it meant a challenge of the long and disproportionate it took to travel a relatively short distance.

Delia said Gozitan PN activists now need to look forward to the European Parliament and local council elections, as well as to the general election, which will be held in four years’ time. He addressed the victims of vindictive transfers, telling them that the PN understood the injustice they went through and wanted to change the way of doing politics in Malta.

Delia pledged to meet with the Gozo Regional Committee every month. He also urged activists to put forward their ideas and proposals.
