A man was seriously injured this morning when the car he was driving was involved in an accident on the Regional Road, St Julian’s.

The police said the 55-year-old of Qormi was driving a Mitsubishi Pajero which was involved in an accident with a Toyota Tercel driven by a 24-year-old of Swieqi.

The accident happened at 5am.

The 55-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment.
