Malta Classic returns to the roads of Mdina and Mellieħa between the 5th and 8th October, where a fleet of 70+ cars manufactured before 1976 will put on a show of timeless elegance and engineering ingenuity at various events open to the public.  Like every year, Malta Classic will include a hill climb, motorsport events, and static exhibitions to give auto enthusiasts the chance to admire from up close the vintage vehicles on display. The exhibitions will take place in Mdina, a historic backdrop that has already welcomed many editions of Malta Classic in the past.

 Always attentive to the needs of Maltese spectators, the organisers of Malta Classic will be offering a shuttle bus service that departs every 15 minutes from 4 different locations around the venue.

 Classic car enthusiasts are also invited to attend the Malta Classic Scrutineering on 30th September, during which classic cars will assemble outside Piazza Tigné at Tigné Point, where they will be parked for viewing by visitors.

Beyond the Moon is a fundraising initiative that is being supported by Malta Classic this year as well. Having raised over €79,000 in previous years, thanks partly to contributions from the Mdina Grand Prix 2015 and 2016, this year's Grand Prix will also be taking donations to support this initiative.

This year's Malta Classic roster will also feature none other than Lord Greg Thornton and his Titan Historic Racing team, who will be bringing over six vintage cars, including a Ford GT40, a Ferrari 308 and ex-F1. The former is especially interesting for car buffs in Malta, since there is no known model that is owned locally.

 Finally, the Malta Classic paddock will have its doors to visitors of all ages who would like to learn more about classic cars and see some exceptional specimens that still grace our roads. The paddock is the most popular event of Malta Classic and entry is usually against a small fee, however between 16.00 and 17.00 on Saturday, 7th October, visitors will be able enter the paddock for free. 

 A limited number of VIP, Grand Stand and paddock tickets to Malta Classic 2017 are still available for sale and can be purchased online at www.maltaclassic.com/buy-tickets . Children under 7 years can enter for free. With vintage cars from Malta, the UK, Italy, France, Switzerland, the US and other countries racing or taking part in the exhibitions, the 2017 edition of Malta Classic promises to be a fun ride for everyone.
