Maestro Edvin Marton to give concert on 20 October

Edvin Marton is considered by critics as the most gifted violin player and composer of our time. His unique modern classical compositions and arrangements of the greatest classical, rock and cinema hits have made him a Gold and Platinum artist in Europe, Russia and China.

Edvin Marton started to play violin at the age of five. He has studied at many prestigious schools namely the Tchaikovsky Music School in Moscow, the Music Academy in Budapest, Music Academy in Vienna and Juilliard School of Music in New York.

He has given concerts with symphony orchestras around the world namely at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, Vienna Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall - New York.

One of the major highlights of Edvin's musical career was composing and performing at the Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games centre-ice for gold medallist Evgeni Plushenko.

Edvin is the winner of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest watched by more than 200 million people. In 2008 Edvin Marton won the MTV Europe Award and the American Television Emmy Award for Best Original Composition (ABC Television Network).

Edvin Marton: Rock Symphony is an unforgettable, thrilling concert. At the show, together with his orchestra, Edvin Marton plays his own greatest hits: Grandioso, Fanatico, Malibu Sunset and many more from his new album Rock Symphony. The genius virtuoso violinist also plays famous hits from Vivaldi to Metallica. Just to mention a few: Vivaldi's Storm, Clocks by Coldplay, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Nothing Else Matters by Metallica.

He performs with the iconic Antonius Stradivarius 1699 violin in a way you have never heard before - compositions that move the spirit and rock the house!
