A march of costumes and red noses along Sliema Promenade for Dr Klown Parade

Sunday, 15 October 2017, 14:20 Last update: about 8 years ago

A large crowd of people dressed up in costumes and sporting red noses walked as a group along Sliema Promenade this morning, in solidarity with children who are sick and/or hospitalised.

The parade was called 'Kids' Klown Parade' and was organized by Dr. Klown, an NGO dedicated to providing clown doctor services at Mater Dei Hospital, where the doctors visit children at hospital or stay with them while they are having treatment, using the healing power of humour.

The participants dressed up in costumes and gathered near the LOVE monument, together walking along the promenade to Exiles. The Klown Doctors, Spiderman, Elsa, Balloon Man, Olaf and musical bands were all present at the event.
