The Holiday Inn Express in St Julian's was officially inaugurated this evening.

This hotel is the latest addition to the Eden Leisure Group portfolio. The group currently operates Eden Cinemas, Eden SuperBowl, Cynergi Health and Fitness Club, 89.7 Bay Radio, The InterContinental Malta, The IACC (InterContinental Arena Conference Centre) and Casino Malta, with the Holiday Inn Express as the latest addition. 

On the night of the inauguration, Ian De Cesare, Chairman of the Eden Leisure Group, addressed the guests promising "a fantastic welcome in the new high quality Generation 4 Holiday Inn Express, a great night's sleep, contemporary lounge with an extensive breakfast, all at a reasonable rate". 

Comprised of 118 rooms and located in St George‟s Bay (next door to The InterContinental Malta), the Holiday Inn Express is superbly finished with IHG's Generation 4 public areas and bedrooms, each including desks and LCD TVs, blackout shades and a pillow menu, power showers and a buffet breakfast included in the room rate.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat was present and spoke, however left before the journalists were able to ask any questions.
