Claudia and Nathanael's story is one of those stories one reads about in books. They met one day and knew instantly that they were meant to be together. In fact, they started living together from the very first time they met. Shortly after they decided to expand their family and have a baby, in fact, they got married while Claudia was seven months pregnant.

In Germany, the night before the wedding day it is traditional that the couple perform a custom called Polter Abend which means a ghost evening. Claudia and Nathanael wanted to honour this well-known tradition. First, they threw some ceramic items on the floor to scare the demons and ghosts away. After that, the bride-to-be was taken away from her future husband and hidden somewhere, in this case, it could have been anywhere in Malta but they limited the area to Qawra, only because Claudia was pregnant and scared of the dark! Nathanael had to find Claudia before the clocks struck midnight. Luckily for Claudia, he found her just in time.

Claudia walked down the aisle wearing a beautiful and dainty turtle neck dress made from various materials including satin, tulle and chiffon. It was tailor made to fit Claudia's growing belly. She was also carrying a beautiful bouquet of soft pink peonies, from The Flower Shop to complete the look.

A civil wedding was held at Palazzo Parisio Golden Hall, on September 2, they chose this venue for its beautiful, rich and elegant décor. They had a sit-down reception with their very close families and friends. They wanted to celebrate their love with an intimate festivity where they could enjoy themselves and relax on one of the most important days of their love story.

It was difficult for the couple to describe one particular highlight from their wedding night as there were quite a few; Claudia said that seeing her future husband waiting for her at the top of the aisle was breathtaking, so it was for Nathanael when he saw his beautiful wife to-be walking towards him.

For Claudia, her father's speech, when Nathanael sang the song Hero for her and the fireworks were all surprises that she will cherish forever. The food at the venue is also something that they are very fond of and all the guests remarked that it was exceptional.

They thanked their guests with a bottle of Red Wine Celius each, in a custom made box matching the invitations, both created by Polidano Press.

After the reception Claudia and Nathanael went straight to the Intercontinental Hotel, Malta and spent two lovely nights in the Deluxe Suite, they have also spent the two days going around Malta feeling like tourists!
