A banner with Daphne Caruana Galizia’s last words was erected on the Birkirkara by-pass, one month after the journalist was killed in a car bomb outside her home.

“The situation is desperate” were the last words that Daphne uploaded on her website “Running Commentary”, minutes before she was killed.

No arrests have been made since the 16 October assassination, with calls for the resignation of the police commissioner and attorney general so far going unheeded.
