Two passengers were injured when the car they were in was involved in a traffic accident in Luqa this morning, the police said.

The accident, between a Toyota Corolla driven by a 62-year-old woman and a BMW X5 driven by a 56-year-old of Msida, took place in Council of Europe Street, Luqa.

The two passengers were in the BMW. A 25-year-old woman of Msida suffered slight injuries and a 31-year-old man of Rabat was seriously hurt.
