President Marie Louise Coleiro-Preca today visited a Maltese patient in London, Nigel, who has received a heart transplant.

President Coleiro Preca described the meeting as an "emotional" one, and expressed her sense of gratitude to the Maltese population for their generosity in helping those who needed medical treatment abroad.

She also paid a visit to the visits the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and Puttinu House in Sutton.
