Two men are in hospital after injuring each other during a fight which broke out in St Julian’s this morning, the police said.

The incident took place in Ross Street at 3.15am.

The fight involved a Somali national, aged 21 and resident in Marsaxlokk, and another man whose identity is still to be established.

During the fight, a pointed instrument was used.

Both men were seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
