The European People's Party is supporting Malta in the situation it has found itself in, PN leader Adrian Delia said after attending his first EPP summit.

Delia said he has the support of other EPP leaders. He said that he took this opportunity to make sure that Malta has the EU's support. "It is through this good relationship that we managed to safeguard Malta's position in the financial sector as PN MEPs voted against the motion by the socialist party."

The PN leader said that the summit was very constructive and that the PN gave its contribution on important issues such as Brexit and migration, "two issues which affect Malta directly."
