Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia said that Christmas should be a time when one thinks about vulnerable people and try to ease their life.

In his Christmas message, Delia said that while many celebrate at this time of the year, there are many others who do not have the financial means to party and buy presents.

He was echoed by his wife Nicky Vella de Fremeaux, who said that it should not only be at Christmastime that one spares a thought for people in need. There are people suffering mental illness, abused children and women who need support all throughout the year, she said.
