The Nationalist Party must work hand in hand with environmental organisations in the best interests of the country, PN leader Adrian Delia said when meeting representatives of various eNGOs.

Delia said that the motion presented by the Opposition for land at Zonqor to be returned to the public shows the PN’s intentions to safeguard the environment. Land in Malta is scarce, and parliament should discuss this issue as soon as possible.

The PN has the obligation to leave its communications lines open with civil society, even on matters on which there is no agreement.
