A motorcyclist was injured this morning in an accident that also involved two cars.

The accident took place in Hamrun’s main road, which led to part of the artery to be closed to traffic.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old woman of San Gwann, was taken to hospital for treatment. The drivers of the two cars were unhurt.

The accident took place at around 11.15am.
