The Labour Party has denied that 60% of Gozitan employees are with the public sector.

The Labour Party said that according to the National Statistics Office, 61% of Gozitan jobs are with the private sector. The PL said that Delia was making mistakes on basic facts.

In a statement, the Labour Party said that the number of Gozitans working in the private sector has increased throughout this administration, stating that 5,799 Gozitans worked in the private sector in 2012, rising to 7,043 in 2016.

The PL said that Delia should start checking his facts before speaking.
