Tuesday, 16 January 2018, 09:08 Last update: about 7 years ago

On 20 December, the Malta Society of Arts held a graduation ceremony for the 50 music students who obtained their diplomas with the London College of Music examinations in the practical and theory sections.

The evening started out with a few selected students playing their chosen pieces on the new Steinway piano to a delighted audience, which was followed by the handing out of the diploma certificates by MSA president Arch. Adrian Mamo.

The Malta Society of Arts would like to congratulate all the students for their efforts and commitment. The examiners from LCM repeatedly remarked that the level of local students is very high and the MSA is proud to be the LCM's representative on our islands.

The London College of Music (LCM) is an international examinations board offering graded and diploma qualifications in music, drama and communication. Examinations of music and theory of music in both grades and diplomas are held across a large network of exam centres worldwide, including Malta, where the MSA has been the representative of the College for the past 80 years.
