288 disabled persons are currently on the employment registry (Jobsplus), with the number steadily decreasing every year since the end of 2013.

Minister for Education and Employment Evarist Bartolo revealed the figures when answering a parliamentary question tabled by PL Whip Byron Camilleri.

The figure is almost half of the highest figure of 564 individuals with a disability that was recorded on the registry in March 2013.

Since then the year-end figures have been as follows: 526 in 2013, 442 in 2014, 398 in 2015, 354 in 2016.
