Bethlehem Peace Light formally welcomed to Malta

The Bethlehem Peace Light was formally welcomed to Malta today.

On 15 January 2018, a small party of Scouters which included George Mangion (President of Baden-Powell Scouts Malta (BPSM) and Victor Brincat (Sea Scout Commissioner) travelled to Catania, Sicily where they received the light from Don Nuccio Pugliesi. Don Pugliesi is a Scout Chaplin and Parish Priest at Christ the King Parish, in Paterno', a town and Comune of the Metropolitan City of Catania, Sicily.

The flame was at rest at the Federation's General Head Quarters in Mtarfa and it was formally welcomed to Malta on Saturday the 20th January 2018 at 10:00 am by the President of Malta at San Anton Palace.
