The MCI Concert will be. Andrew, who is a virtuoso on his instrument, will be playing a selection of music from the French, Latin American and modern repertoire.
The evening's programme will also be featuring the Four Winds Quartet, whose members are Nathalie Cachia (Bb Clarinet), René Camilleri (Bb Clarinet), Karl Camilleri (Bb Clarinet and Eb Alto Clarinet) and Gabriel Agius Pascalidis (Bb Bass Clarinet). All four musicians have advanced certificates in Clarinet performance obtained from distinguished institutions in the UK and a number of masterclasses in their portfolio. They are being tutored by Michael Pirotta.
A special attraction will be an Indian dance performed to Hindi music by Radha Agrawal in her traditional Indian costume.
The MCI February painting exhibition will feature works by Fabiola Agius Anastasi.
The co-ordination and presentation of the concert will be in the hands of Dame Mro. Marie Therese Vassallo.
Everyone is invited to attend the concert on Sunday, 18 February at 7pm at G. F. Abela Junior College Theatre, Msida. A donation at the door is being kindly requested to help cover some of the expenses of the MCI and the use of the Junior College Theatre.
Free parking will be available for guests in the grounds of the Junior College during the concert. The Junior College Theatre has lift facilities, providing easy access for guests with special needs.
