Throughout the weekend, crews took part in three races on Saturday afternoon and two races on Sunday morning. Racing took place outside of Marsamxett Harbour and Tigne Point.  A delayed start on Saturday afternoon, due to lack of wind was made up for by early afternoon when wind conditions picked up.  Sunday was a similar affair though the sun came out to give crews a bit of respite from Saturday's grey weather.

Whilst the key focus of the Regatta was the Laser Class, the Club also invited crews racing on the Club's RS Fevas to take part giving them a good opportunity to test their skills.

A prize giving took place at the Royal Malta Yacht Club immediately after the last race.  Winners were presented with certificates and trophies by RMYC Hon. Treasurer and Race Officer Peter Dimech and RMYC Sailing School Coach Alex Denisuc.

"Malta is a perfect location for international crews to come and train in the winter season - in fact our school has seen an increase in interest and participation in local training camps.  This Regatta closed off a very successful week and also gave local crews the perfect opportunity to race amongst higher level crews in local waters", commented Race Officer Peter Dimech.
