A 67-year-old man was seriously injured after falling inside a block of flats.

The police said the incident occurred at 12.45 pm, and that preliminary investigations show that for some reason, the man fell down a flight of stairs.

The apartments are on Triq Belvedere, Gżira.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and investigations are ongoing.
