For seven students of San Andrea School and four of their teachers, this scholastic year will definitely be one to remember. Thanks to Erasmus+, three girls and three boys travelled to Tvrdosin in Slovakia, where they met their hosts, as well as partners from Italy, Bulgaria and Poland.
Their week-long stay was full of activities and learning experiences. Sight-seeing, team-building exercises, new friendships and hands-on activities were only a few of their experiences. Highlights of this trip include a hike amid the breath-taking surrounding hills of Tvrdosin, the making of string cheese (Korbáčik) and potato pancakes (Zemiakove placky), working in the field to harvest potatoes and a visit to the medieval Orava castle.
Erasmus+ programmes are undoubtedly a mine of opportunities. Thanks to this occasion, all the participants will treasure the memories and acquired skills forever.
