The Labour Party has taken exception to an article penned for The Malta Independent by Nationalist MP David Stellini, saying that Stellini’s declaration “that the Maltese do not have values because they support Joseph Muscat” exposes the PN’s arrogance.

The PL said that Stellini believes that the Maltese people are “profit-driven” and seek only their own personal interests.

The choices made by the people in the past years led to Malta being in a better place than it was, as confirmed in recent hours.

Malta is better off socially, economically and also with regard to civil rights. But these are not values for the PN, Labour said. The P’s only value is to be in power, it added.
