This photo shows a bright rainbow shining over Attard yesterday.

It was a day of rain and thunderstorms, which was followed by a brighter evening in which the rainbow appearing in the skies signified better weather.

The fields over which the rainbow was appearing are earmarked to be converted into a new road, the Attard by-pass which aims to divert traffic from the centre of the locality.

One wonders if the photo would look so beautiful with tarmac and cars instead of the fields.
