A man of foreign nationality was found dead at Għajn Tuffieħa at around 6pm this evening, according to reports.  

From initial reports it appears the man had fallen from a height from the vicinity of the tower overlooking the bay.  It is understood that the victim was in the company of a woman at the time of the fall.

Police and a medical team were called on scene but the man was certified as dead.  His body was lifted from the rocks below by helicopter. The police are still to issue a statement.
