A team of employees from local real estate giant RE/Max Malta took part in the 2018 Vodafone Malta Marathon last Sunday, 25 February.

Running to raise funds for the marathon's official charity Inspire, the Maltese foundation for the inclusion of those with disabilities, the RE/Max team also represented the RE/Max & Friends Foundation.

Formed in 2013, the RE/Max & Friends Foundation provides support to employees and their families when it's needed most, as well as regularly donating to charities throughout Malta.

"We are delighted that the RE/Max & Friends Foundation team participated in the 2018 Vodafone Malta Marathon," says RE/Max Malta chief Operating officer, Jeff Buttigieg. "As well as contributing to such a good cause, the marathon was another opportunity to promote a fit and healthy lifestyle among our employees and to build an even stronger RE/Max team."

Of the 46 RE/Max employees that participated, 22 joined the 21km half marathon, 23 walked in the 21km walkathon, and one ran the full 42km marathon.

Along with all the other participants of the 2018 Vodafone Malta Marathon, they set off in Mdina and crossed the finish line at the Sliema Ferries. "We are very proud of them!" Buttigieg concludes.
