Kicking off 2018 Malta Artisan Markets, together with Xara Collection, will be hosting the first local market of the year at Palazzo de Piro, Mdina on Saturday, 10 and Sunday, 11 March from 10am to 5pm.
Malta Artisan Markets collaborates with small, independent businesses in a "market styled set up", aiming to showcase original and artisanal quality products inspired, designed or made locally. Over the years MAM has also opened its doors to include a "growing" international community of artisans, crafters, artists, designers and food producers.
This month's edition of the market will showcase a range of products including woodworks, accessories, bakes and delicacies, homeware and fashion. Some highlights include Weaving Malta, Stephen Cordina (Aroma & Therapy) and Maria Cutajar (Fashion designer).
Malta Artisan Markets invites you to come and meet the entrepreneurs and local artisans. Children can also participate in a craft workshop hosted by Sand Crafts Malta, face-painting by Emily or have a caricature done by Svetlana. Tea, snacks or lunch can also be enjoyed at the Xpresso Café and Bistro by Infinitely Xara.
Entrance to the market is free of charge.
