Two persons were injured yesterday evening after two cars collided, with one of them crashing into a third car, the police said.
The accident happened in Hal Far Road, Birzebbuga, at 10.15pm.
The police said the first impact was between a Volkswagen Golf and a Hyundai Accent, with the latter ending up crashing into a Suzuki Swift.
The Volkswagen driver, a 21-year-olf of Marsa, suffered grievous injuries, while the Hyundai driver was unhurt.
The 27-year-old driver of the Suzuki, a Kirkop woman, was also unhurt while a passenger with her, aged 58 and also resident in Kirkop, received treatment in a health centre.
