A biker and a pedestrian were taken to hospital for treatment after an accident in Ghaxaq this evening, the police said.

The accident took place in Dawret Hal Ghaxaq at 5.30pm.

The biker, aged 74, was riding a Yamaha when it hit a woman, aged 57, who was crossing the road.

Both were taken to hospital for treatment, with the biker reported to have suffered serious injuries. The woman’s condition was unknown.
