The game for Paola Volley against Kavallieri was closed off with a win for the Paolities, with a score of 3-1 (25-19, 25-16, 23-25 & 25-21).

On the other hand, Balzan Flyers Crosscraft defeated Sliema Wonderers and assured a decisive match against Fleur De Lys Royal Panda. This was the last game of the regular super league matches, with Balzan Flyers Crosscraft requiring 3 points to get a chance for the decisive match and run for the title.

Flyers started well with an aggressive service ending the first set in their favour 25-17. The second set was however a challenging one, with Sliema controlling the game, who put down Balzan with a score of 22-25.

After the loss of the set, Muncan's girls came out more strong-minded, displaying an aggressive attach from their outside spikers. Sliema's defence did not stand a chance against Dworniczak's powerful spikes, and strong Balzan ended the subsequent 3rd and 4th set in theur favour with a score of 25-19 and 25-12.

It must also be mentioned that Sliema was missing one of their main spikers, Cheviron, who experienced an unfortunate injury, which would have certainly had a say in altering the result of Sunday's match.

Balzan Flyers Crosscraft are now back on track, awaiting the decisive match against Fleur De Lys Royal Panda for the title of Champions.
