Common sense prevailing in Brexit talks – Prime Minister

Common sense is prevailing in talks regarding Brexit, although both sides are seeking their own interests, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said.

Speaking in Brussels, where he is attending a European Council summit, Muscat said that any agreement with the UK must be concluded with full respect to European legislation.

No progress has been registered with regard to the borders between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, he added.
