Malta's leaders lay wreaths at foot of Freedom Day monument

President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Opposition Leader Adrian Delia today took part in the traditional wreath-laying ceremony at the foot of the Freedom Day monument in Vittoriosa.

Freedom Day celebrates the anniversary of the withdrawal of British troops and the Royal Navy from Malta in 1979.
