A man was seriously injured after falling from a three-storey height while conducting maintenance work on a building on Old Theatre street, Valletta.

The incident occurred at 10.15 am. An ambulance was called and the 55-year-old Bulgarian who resides in St Paul's Bay was taken to Mater Dei hospital.

A Magisterial inquiry has been called and investigations are ongoing.
