Young Gozitan skeet shooter had a very good start on Sunday in his first day of qualifications at The Commonwealth Games skeet event at The Gold Coast Australia. He managed a perfect straight of 25/25, followed by a 24/25.

On Monday he started with another straight of 25/25 followed by 19/25 and 23/25 for a total of 116/125.

With this score he placed 12th. Georgios Achilleos from Cyprus won The Gold Medal with 57/60 in the finals.Ben Llewellin from Wales won The Silver Medal with 56/60Gareth Meauley from N.Ireland won The Bronze Medal with 45/50.

Eleonor Bezzina made it to the finals in The 10M air pistol event where she placed 4th overall.

On Wednesday The Maltese Double Trap shooters William Chetcuti and Nathan Lee Xuereb will be competing, while on Friday and Saturday Brian Galea will be in action at The Trap event.
