After the success of the Christmas pantomime, ACTion Productions presents the social drama, It-Tieni Cans.  The story evolving around family Demanuele. This is a family consisting of four persons, Martin, the father who is a magistrate, Marisa the mother and their two children Rosette and Jean. The drama starts with Martin celebrating his retirement with his family. But on his last day at work he is presented with a very interesting case.

What is the story of this case and who are the people involved? Rosette tells her mother that she is going out with Reuben and would like him to meet the family. Marisa speaks with Martin and they decide to organise a dinner to meet this boyfriend. Marisa has dedicated all her life to her family but  now she's feeling overwhelmed with all the occurrences taking place especially taking care of Jean who is confined to a wheelchair.

Was Jean born with a disability or did he have an accident?  Martin and Marisa employ a careworker to take care of Jean and here we meet Robert. Martin immediately shows a dislike of the new care worker. But why?
