Joe Caruana Curran, President of the ASA of Malta and Mario Cachia, CEO and Director of Alternative Technologies Ltd signed a four-year lease of equipment and maintenance contract.

This contract covers the current equipment as well as any new equipment purchased by the Association and also includes consultancy services.

This agreement was also made possible through the support of Parliamentary Secretary Dr Clifton Grima and SportMalta.

Present for the signing were Rita Azzopardi, ASA General Secretary and David Bonello, Secretary of the Swimming Technical Committee.

This is the first lease/maintenance contract ATL has ever signed with a sports association and goes to prove that the ASA, in its endeavour to improve the standard of all its athletes in aquatic disciplines, is setting the pace when it comes to investment in sport technology.

ATL are the suppliers of the Swiss Timing Equipment utilised by the ASA for both swimming and water polo competitions.
