A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Floriana on Saturday evening, the police said.
The man, a 55-year-old Spaniard, was hit by a Peugeot 308 driven by a 71-year-old man of Mellieha.
He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
