A Syrian worker was grievously injured on Monday when he fell at a construction site in Mellieha.
The accident took place at around noon in Triq Ġnien Ingraw, the police said.

The man, 18, fell from a height of one storey.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Investigations are ongoing.
