A man, aged 58, was slightly injured in a shooting incident in Gharghur this morning

The incident took place at around 9.30am in a farmhouse in St George Street.

Sources said that the shooting followed an argument between family members.

A man, aged 31, is helping the police in their investigations. He left the farmhouse after the shooting but was later arrested by the police.

Magistrate G Vella is conducting an inquiry.
