The police said this evening it had no information that a bomb was being built in Malta before journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia was killed.
In a statement replying to an article on other media, the police said that t nwas only after the killing that, from analysis carried out on technological equipment in a garage in Zebbug, it was discovered that there was evidence to this effect.
It was never said in court that the mobile phone belonging to one of three men accused with the murder, George Degiorgio, had ever been located in this Zebbug garage.
The three mobile phones belonging to the three accused were not all found in the sea at Marsa, as testimony given in court in the compilation of evidence shows.
