Sliema residents are complaining about what they have described as a “big haze” caused by dust during excavation works for the Tonwsquare Project.

Photos uploaded on Facebook show the extent of the dust haze, which is “enveloping” the area.

Questions are being raised as to whether water guns are being used to control the spreading of the dust particles.
