Men's Handball: Swieqi Phoenix, La Salle, Aloysians in the running to become champions

Swieqi Yobetit Phoenix, La Salle Multilotto and Aloysians ProMinent are currently leading the Videoslots.com Men's Division handball league.  Aloysians ProMinent are being called out as favourites to win the league as they have a better goal average than the rest. Swieqi Yobetit Phoenix are currently leading the table with 25 points but both La Salle Multilotto and Aloysians Prominent have a game at hand. Aloysians Prominent have 22 points and La Salle have 19 points respectively.

Meanwhile in Second Division, Kavallieri RS2 retain the lead, following a comfortable win against Mosta H.C. Team ETE are in second place after narrowly beating Swieqi Phoenix by a three-goal margin. La Salle ZT Developers are in third place. 

In Women's Handball, La Salle were crowned third-time champions last weekend, after beating Swieqi Gasan Mamo Phoenix who landed third place. Aloysians placed second.  

The local handball season will come to a close with a knock-out tournament for both Men's and Women's divisions, starting in May.
