Beyond any shadow of doubt, one of the main attractions for this year's cultural calendar is Igudesman & Joo's inimitable show A Little Nightmare Music that will be held at Pjazza Teatru Rjal on Wednesday 16 May at 8pm.

Igudesman & Joo's YouTube videos have had over 35 million views. Director Terry Jones of Monty Python fame described them as "very musical, very engaging and very funny" while international violinist Gideon Kremer said that "A Little Nightmare Music isn't just entertaining ... it is hilarious!"

A Little Nightmare Music is a perfect blend of music and humour in which the artists manage to seamlessly combine the music of Mozart, opera and Pachelbel's famous Canon with Beatles songs, Rap and I will Survive. It comes as no surprise that legendary actor Sir Roger Moore described Igudesman and Joo as "a DREAM!"

Aleksey Igudesman and Hyung-ki Joo are classically trained musicians who met during their student days at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey, UK. Their friendship grew and they gradually started to mould their shows in the footsteps of the immortal Victor Borge. Together they performed in prestigious concert halls, on television and in front of audiences as large as 18,000. They have collaborated with some of the world's most renowned musicians such as Emanuel Ax, Joshua Bell, Janine Jansen, Gidon Kremer, Mischa Maisky, Viktoria Mullova, Julian Rachlin, Hans Zimmer, Bobby McFerrin and Vangelis as well as with the New York Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony orchestras.

This unique event is a must for theatre lovers of all ages, from 8 to 88, that will bring these internationally acclaimed stars to Malta.
