This weekend The Malta Shooting Sport Federation organised its first Trap & Skeet competitions in the newly-inaugurated National shooting ranges that attracted a considerable number of competitors and visitors to the state of the art facilities.
These events were on 125 clays trap and skeet, with the top six in each shooting discipline to qualify for the final stages.
In the trap event, Brian Galea placed 1st with 21-25-30-33-40, Frans Pace placed 2nd with 20-21-24--30-37, Stephen Vella placed 3rd with 18-21-25-28, Gianluca Chetcuti placed 4th with 17-21-22, William Chetcuti placed 5th with 17-20, James Galea placed 6th with 15.

In the skeet event, Attard Marlon placed 1st with 17-24-32-41-50, Bozidar Dimitrov placed 2nd with 18-25-34-40-47, Darren Vella placed 3rd with 11-18-26-32, Attard Marcello placed 4th with 12-18-25, Liam Sciberras placed 5th with 12-16, Ian Grima placed 6th with 11.
The Malta Shooting Sport Federation would like to thank Sport Malta and The Secretariat for Youth and Sports for the state of the art shooting facilities and would like to invite the public to support the local athletes for The ISSF World Cup Malta June 5th till June 15th.
