On the initiative of Dr Chris Bonett and with the collaboration of Dizz Group, the Inter Club Malta will be hosting former star Dejan Stankovic, who had helped Inter win the memorable triple - League, Coppa Italia and Champions League - in 2010. Inter Club says it is honoured that Stankovic has accepted its invitation to attend this special occasion intended to celebrate the 40 years since the foundation of the club.
During the visit, which is planned to be held between June 7 and 9, the Inter Club will be staging a training camp where Stankovic will be training a group of boys from a well known nursery in Malta. During his 10-year stay at Inter, Stankovic won five Serie A titles, 4 Coppa Italia, 4 Italy Super Cups, a Club World Cup title and also the Champions League in season 2009- 2010.
Stankovic will also be attending a dinner in his honour organised by the Club at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Floriana.
