The all new menu at The de Mondion Restaurant

Set atop Mdina's centuries-old bastions, within the Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux, the Infinitely Xara team and the de Mondion Restaurant recently organized a celebration of the senses for the press, foodies and local bloggers with spectacular panoramic views of the island.

With an exquisite cuisine and expertise to create tantalizing dishes, the award winning kitchen brigade ably lead by talented Chef de Cuisine Kevin Bonello came up with a 4-course menu that offered a sneak peak of the all new menu at the de Mondion Restaurant. 

The de Mondion is now also offering a tasting menu following a huge demand from the general public and a lot of thought and work from our kitchen brigade. The Taste of Malta is now available as a 5-course meal and is served every day.

The menu for the press night consisted of local red prawns, baked ricotta and honey agnolotti with broad beans, black garlic and truffle, crispy belly and braised neck of local pork as the main course and mascarpone mousse with hazelnut cake and lemon sorbet as dessert.
