The BOV male and female football teams both retained the KPMG Banca Cup.

The BOV Males Football Team claimed the Banca Cup for the 9th time in 10 Editions winning their group with two convincing wins against MFSA (8-0) and Fimbank (5-1). A 9-0 routing of HSBC put BOV in the semi-final, where they went past BNF 4-2 to reach the final. Another 4-2 win over KPMG made sure the Banca Cup stayed at BOV.

The BOV Ladies team won the title in their first participation in this tournament. The girls enjoyed three big wins against Credorax (8-0), FIMbank (10-0) and KPMG (6-0). Not only were the girls unbeaten, but they maintained a clean sheet throughout the tournament.

The BOV male team was composed of Mark Marlow, Dylan Lee Tanti, Keiran Xuereb, Ian Darmanin, Ryan Darmanin, Andre Cassar, Ryan Schembri, Chris Vella, Kyle Frendo and Andrew Scerri. Coach Frans Cassar was at the helm of the team.

The female team was composed of Charlene Cilia, Antoinette Grech, Danielle Cuschieri, Iona Agius, Ylenia Carabott, Joanne Cutajar, Charlotte Spiteri and Maggie Cutajar under the guidance of coach Stephen Mizzi.
