A total of 23 care orders were registered throughout the years 2016 and 2017, information tabled in parliament today shows.

Out of the 23, 9 care orders were registered in 2016 and the other 14 throughout 2017.

The information was tabled by Minister for Family and Children's Rights Michael Falzon in reply to a parliamentary question by MP Byron Camilleri.
