Nationalist Party Leader Adrian Delia called for acknowledgment of those who volunteer their time being active in sports while visiting the President, committee and players of Valletta FC.

He spoke of the commitment volunteers have towards the sports clubs which they support and made reference to his time as President of Birkirkara FC prior to becoming leader of the Opposition. He acknowledged the limited resources allocated to sports in Malta. Spokesperson for sports and the fight against obesity Ryan Callus was present alongside Delia.
